
ABBYY Focuses on 'Purpose-Built' AI During September's Intelligent Automation Month
ABBYY is once again celebrating
Intelligent Automation Month in September. As software companies
continue to integrate aspects of AI into software automation platforms,
intelligent automation has emerged as an industry-wide term for the
technology that is making the automation of business processes simpler and
more effective. This year, ABBYY is highlighting
purpose-built AI and the impact it can have on businesses in an
industry, through a series of
virtual events taking place weekly throughout the month.

Automation Month is an important industry initiative that puts a

regulatory environment around AI. Here is a full schedule of educational

September 5:
The Inevitable wave of AI regulations; balancing utility and harms. This
crucial session will break down the latest global AI regulations and
compliance best practices. ForHumanity, a public non-profit organization
focusing on independent auditing of AI systems, will provide important
information to attendees on ensuring safe and trustworthy AI methods, along
with cybersecurity considerations from ABBYY.
September 12:
E-invoicing is coming! Is your organization ready?
You will be ready after this webinar. Featuring Billentis, you’ll
be enlightened on the current state of e-invoicing globally, with specific
focus on Europe. Billentis will discuss trend projections, the e-invoicing

Celonis Names Former Cardinal Health CEO Mike Kaufmann as Chairman for North America
Celonis, the Munich, Germany-based process mining pureplay, has named a
new Chairman for North America. The company said it has elevated
Mike Kaufmann to the role after serving as a member of its advisory
board for the past 20 months.
Kaufmann served in various roles, including four years as CFO and nearly
five years as CEO of Cardinal Health, a Fortune 15 company and one of the
largest providers of healthcare products and services in the world. His
relationship with Celonis goes back to his stint at Cardinal, where the
company was a key customer of the process mining technology provider.
In his role as North American Chairman, Celonis officials said he will be
able to “make a significant contribution” to increasing growth and market
share in the region.
“Through my experience as a customer and subsequently working with
Celonis’ customers during my time as advisor, I saw firsthand how the
company drives digital transformation and significant value for them,” said
Kaufmann. “There has never been a more critical time for enterprises to make
their processes work. The rapid pace of change all companies are facing to
not only keep up with their peers and competitors, but improve their

Creatio Partners with Conexxia for Global Intelligent Automation Reach
Creatio, provider of a no-code platform that enables businesses to
